Yes, all anglers ages 16 and older need a valid Arkansas fishing license with a trout permit for guided trips or boat/kayak rentals. You can purchase licenses online or at local retailers before your trip.
How many people can join each guided fishing trip?
Our boats accommodate up to three guests per guide for guided fishing trips. For larger groups, we can coordinate multiple guides and boats so everyone enjoys the river together.
Is fishing equipment provided on guided trips?
Yes, all the necessary fishing equipment is included with every guided trip. We provide rods, bait, safety gear, drinks, and everything else you’ll need for a fantastic day on the water.
Can I book a fishing package with lodging included?
Absolutely! We offer special fishing and lodging packages. You can combine your guided trip with a motel room for an all-in-one getaway on the White River.
What should I bring for my fishing trip or stay?
Just bring your personal items, clothing for the weather, Arkansas fishing license, and any snacks you prefer. We supply all fishing gear, life jackets, and have drinks available. For motel guests, all linens, towels, and room amenities are provided.
How do I get to Jenkins Fishing Service & Motel?
Our location is right on the White River by the Calico Rock bridge, but GPS directions aren’t always accurate. Please check our website for a Google Maps pin and step-by-step driving instructions to ensure a smooth arrival.
Do you accommodate groups or families?
Yes, we welcome groups and families! Our boats hold up to three guests per guide, and our motel rooms sleep up to four. Contact us to ask about custom group packages or event options.
Can guests rent boats or kayaks without a guide?
Definitely. We offer fully equipped boat and kayak rentals for independent river adventures. Rentals include everything you need for a safe and enjoyable day on the water, plus shuttle service for kayak floats.
Are pets allowed at the motel or on fishing trips?
We are a family-friendly business and welcome well-behaved pets in select motel rooms. Please let us know in advance if you’d like to bring your pet so we can check availability and guidelines. There is a one time $25 pet fee and we ask pets be kenneled when no one else is in the room.
